About Alex

Growing up in New Brunswick, Canada, Alex has always connected with nature on a deep level. In the forest and close to the water is where she feels most at home. Physical activity has always been an important part of Alex’s life, first through team sports, then through dance, martial arts and Yoga. Moving her body has always had a way of grounding her.

Alex’s other loves are travelling, eating good food, reading, being silly with her son, dancing in the kitchen and spending time with her closest friends. Maintaining a childlike sense of wonder has allowed Alex to bring an innocent curiosity to her Yoga practice and classes. She believes that self discovery through play, pleasure and inquisitiveness can be transformational on anyones journey. Pranayama and Kriya work came to Alex later in life and at the perfect time. Through these teachings she has been able to tap into her truest self and find deeper connections at every turn. Alex strives to find the balance between strength and surrender and hopes that she can help you to discover that harmony as well.
